The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the UPSC EPFO Exam Date 2025 for the recruitment of Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer (EO/AO) and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts and is set for 30 November 2025. A total of 230 vacancies have been released this year, offering aspirants a golden chance to join one of the most prestigious organisations under the Government of India.
UPSC EPFO Exam Date 2025 Out
The release of the UPSC EPFO Exam Date 2025 is a significant event for aspirants aiming to secure positions as EO/AO or APFC in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. The offline exam is scheduled for 30 November 2025. It is a two-tier selection process comprising a Combined Recruitment Test followed by an Interview.
UPSC EPFO Exam Date & Timing 2025
The Commission has scheduled the Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) to be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper-based format. Candidates must note that only those who qualify in the CRT and fulfil the required eligibility conditions will be shortlisted for the Interview round. The examination will be held on:
- Date of Exam: 30th November 2025 (Sunday)
- Session: Forenoon
- Timing: 09:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
- Mode: Offline (OMR-based test)
Selection Process for UPSC EPFO 2025
The selection procedure for both EO/AO and APFC posts will comprise two stages:
Combined Recruitment Test (CRT):
- Maximum Marks: 300
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Mode: Offline (Objective-type questions)
Interview:
- Maximum Marks: 100
- Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in CRT and satisfy all eligibility norms will be invited for the interview.
Note: The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in both stages combined, i.e., CRT (300 marks) + Interview (100 marks).
UPSC EPFO Minimum Qualifying Marks
The Commission has prescribed minimum qualifying marks for the interview stage, depending on the candidate’s category:
- General/EWS: 50 marks and above
- OBC: 45 marks and above (relaxed standards)
- SC/ST: 40 marks and above (relaxed standards)
- PwBD (all categories): 40 marks and above (relaxed standards)
- These standards ensure fair opportunity while maintaining merit across categories.
UPSC EPFO Admit Card and Exam Venue
The admit card/hall ticket and detailed information about the venue of the Recruitment Test will be communicated to candidates in due course through the official UPSC website. Candidates are advised to keep checking the portal regularly for updates.
