The Commission has scheduled the Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) to be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper-based format. Selection Process for UPSC EPFO 2025

The selection procedure for both EO/AO and APFC posts will comprise two stages:

Combined Recruitment Test (CRT):

• Maximum Marks: 300
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Mode: Offline (Objective-type questions)

Interview:

• Maximum Marks: 100
• Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in CRT and satisfy all eligibility norms will be invited for the interview.

Note: The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in both stages combined, i.e., CRT (300 marks) + Interview (100 marks).

UPSC EPFO Minimum Qualifying Marks

The Commission has prescribed minimum qualifying marks for the interview stage, depending on the candidate’s category:

• General/EWS: 50 marks and above
• OBC: 45 marks and above (relaxed standards)
• SC/ST: 40 marks and above (relaxed standards)
• PwBD (all categories): 40 marks and above (relaxed standards)
