The UPSC has announced an extension for the online application process of the EPFO Combined Recruitment Test for APFC and EO/AO posts. The department has issued an official notice confirming that candidates can now apply until 22 August 2025 (23:59 Hrs). A one-time correction facility will also be available from 23 to 25 August 2025, allowing applicants to update or fix any errors in their forms of UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025.

EPFO EO/AO & APFC Eligibility Criteria
To apply for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualification
EO/AO: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/Institute.
APFC: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable qualifications include a Diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration.
Age Limit
EO/AO: Maximum 30 years
APFC: Maximum 35 years
UPSC EPFO Selection Process
The recruitment will be carried out through a pen-and-paper based Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by an Interview.
Exam Scheme:
- The CRT will be of two hours’ duration.
- All questions will carry equal marks.
- The test will consist of objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.
- The medium of examination will be English and Hindi.
- There will be negative marking: one-third of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Only candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for the Interview.
EPFO Probation Period
Selected candidates will serve a probation period of two years, during which their performance will be assessed before confirmation of service.
