Will IBPS Conduct Exams in Unlock 4?

IBPS Exam in Unlock 4: As India is to get into the fourth phase of unlocking on 1 September; which means end of 3rd phase on 31st August. Unlock-4 will be observed in the country when the count of Coronavirus cases has reached upto 3.38 million causing 61,529 deaths in the whole country. Unlock-4: What will resume in Unlock-4?

As the official guidelines have been released for Unlock-4 and it clarify that  Metros will resume after 7th September with proper precautionary measures along with social distancing rules. As Delhi metro will resume, it would be easy for the candidates to reach the exam centers; however inter-state and intra-state transportation has been already approved by the government in Unlock-3. So reaching the exam center should not be the concern of the candidates.

As the situation arose in the country due to coronavirus, no one can be ready until and unless vaccine or proper treatment for the virus is found. However, India is returning to its normal phase with some new changes. IBPS has released exam dates only when it knew that the exam could be conducted in a safer and smoother way. Delaying or Canceling the exam would affect thousands of candidates as might be its a last chance to appear. So keeping in mind the safety and future of candidates together, IBPS is completely ready to conduct IBPS RRB exams in September & October.

What plans does IBPS have regarding the safety measures for the exam days?

Following are some of the general instructions which are already released by the authority, which a candidate must follow strictly on the exam date. In case any candidate does not follow any of these instructions won’t be allowed to appear in the exam. Along with the above general instruction; IBPS has also mentioned some other guidelines to the precautionary measures; including

  1. Wearing a mask and gloves is compulsory throughout the time when you are in or around the exam hall.
  2. Reaching the exam hall on the time slot that would be provided on your admit card to maintain social distancing.
  3. Updated status on Aarogya Setu App
  4. Carrying own water bottle, sanitizer, and other belonging
  5. The temperature will be measured before allowing the candidates to enter the exam hall,
  6. Any candidate having any kind of symptom that could match with COVID-19 will not be allowed to sit in the exam hall.

Why Pre Exam Training is not happening?

As exam days are heading after two weeks and conducting Pre-exam training won’t be a great idea. As per the official notification released; to keep the safety of the candidates on priority, this time pre-exam training won’t happen and the candidates have to just come once for the Prelims exams on the scheduled dates.

The official notification released by IBPS reads like, “Due to COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of the candidates, preexam training during this period may not be held.”

Why admit cards are still not released for the exams?

Do not be in a rush, the exam is 14 days away; might be IBPS will releasing admit cards within 4 to 5 days. So stay calm and focus on your preparation as things are getting normal then why should your future be affected in all this. Do not worry, if IBPS will be conducting exam then it would be done with proper safety measures as IBPS is more concerned about the candidates.

Has IBPS officially announced it?

As still there is no notification regarding the postpone of the exam dates neither for confirmation of the exam dates. So it is advised that the candidates who have applied for the exams must not keep their preparation on side with a mindset that exam will not be conducted. IBPS has already released exam day guidelines mentioning proper measures that would be taken with respect to carrying on the exam in a smooth and safe manner. So thinking that exam won’t happen and keeping your books aside would harm you only. So just do your preparation thinking that exams are going to happen on the dates scheduled.
