INCAPACITATED (adjective) : अक्षम
Meaning: deprived of strength or power; debilitated.
Synonyms: crippled, decrepit, enfeebled, frail.

Antonyms: modern, recent, latest, neoteric.
Usage: The piece of pottery was a relic of the past that evoked in me a feeling of nostalgia.

SHODDY (adjective)  : तुच्छ
Meaning: badly made or done.
Synonyms: trashy, crude, junky, duff.
Antonyms: prestigious, reputed, elegant, upright.
Usage: Because of shoddy accounting practices, our firm is being audited.

PERJURY (Noun)  : मिथ्या शपथ
Meaning: the offence of wilfully telling an untruth or making a misrepresentation under oath.
Synonym: violation of an oath, giving false evidence/testimony, bearing false witness/testimony, forswearing oneself, making false statements, wilful falsehood
Usage: The mother who lied about her son’s whereabouts will soon face trial for perjury.

ADJUDICATE (Verb) : निर्णय करना
Meaning: to make an official decision about who is right in a dispute
Synonym: adjudge, judge, arbitrate, decide, determine
Usage: You should never adjudicate a major decision when you are under the influence of alcohol.

PUNCTILIOUS (Adjective) : ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा परिशुद्ध
Meaning: showing great attention to detail or correct behaviour.
Synonym: meticulous, conscientious, careful, diligent, attentive,
Antonym: careless, easy-going, slapdash
Usage: While I enjoy cleanliness, I am not so punctilious that I get upset about a little dust on my furniture.

SCRUNCH(Verb) : कुचलना
Meaning:to make something or yourself smaller to fit into a small space
Synonyms: compress, crunch
Antonyms: expand, uncompress
Usage: The cat was hiding, scrunched up under the sofa.

ASTOUND (Verb) : हक्का बक्का
Meaning:to surprise or shock someone very much
Synonyms: astonish, bewilder
Antonyms: explain, clarify
Usage: Considering how badly they’re paid and what little support they get, the dedication of these teachers astounds me.

DEDUCE(Verb) : परिणाम निकालना
Meaning: to reach an answer or a decision by thinking carefully about the known facts
Synonyms: derive, surmise
Antonyms: destroy, disperse
Usage: The police have deduced that he must have left his apartment yesterday evening.
