Moderna Vaccine- Coronavirus vaccine from Moderna shows promising early results

Moderna Vaccine- The first human trial of Coronavirus vaccine by Moderna showed promising early signs suggesting an immune-system response in the body that could help fend off the Covid-19. This is a big leap in the quest to find a coronavirus vaccine as the world is in the grip of COVID-19 pandemic. The Moderna vaccine findings are based on trials done results recieved from first 8 eight people of the age group 18 to 55, who each received two doses of the experimental vaccine, starting in March.

The vaccine by Moderna was produced in collaboration with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the U.S. SARS-CoV-2 globally has infected more than 4.7 million people and killed over 300,000. At this point in time all research institute and pharma companies are racing to make a vaccine and deliver drugs for effective treatment of COVID-19.

Moderna vaccine uses the mRNA technology and other techonologies to aid the body’s own cells to produce viral proteins. If the body creates antibodies againts those then the vaccine has severd its purpose.

It is being said that the trails of vaccine are being conducted in stages, and the stage-1 was only to look at safety and whether or not the shot created lab markers of an immune-system response. In the other stages of the testing, the vaccine will be administered to thousands of patients starting in July, to test if the vaccine go up against the virus in the real world in a definitive test of whether it prevents or lessens infections.
