IBPS PO Nationality

A candidate applying for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following which are listed below if you come under any of this point you are eligible to appear for the exam.

  3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

RBI Grade B Educational Qualification

Given below are the educational qualification requirements to apply for the RBI Grade B Notification.  

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General)

Minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters/years

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR

Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM

Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade (aggregate of all semesters/years) OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed Institute OR M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks (aggregate of all semesters/years) OR Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.

  1. The RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam consists of a total of 200 questions, with each question carrying one mark.
  2. The maximum mark possible in the exam is 200 Marks.
  3. Candidates are given a total of 120 minutes or 2 hours to complete the exam.
  4. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer marked by the candidate.
  5. The exam also has a sectional cut-off for each section of the exam, and candidates will have to clear both sectional cut-offs as well as the overall cut-off to qualify for the next stage.

Standard probability distributions – Binomial, Poison, Geometric, Negative binomial, Uniform, Normal, exponential, Logistic, Log-normal, Beta, Gamma, Weibull, Bivariate normal etc.

Exact Sampling distributions – Chi-square, student’s t, F and Z distributions and their applications. Asymptotic sampling distributions and large sample tests, association and analysis of contingency tables.

Sampling Theory:

Standard sampling methods such as simple random sampling, Stratified random sampling, Systematic sampling, Cluster sampling, Two-stage sampling, Probability proportional to size etc. Ratio estimation, Regression estimation, non-sampling errors and problem of non-response, and Correspondence and categorical data analysis.

JAIIB Exam Pattern 2024

JAIIB Exam has Four papers: Indian Economy and Indian Financial System (IE & IFS); Principles and Practices of Banking( PPB); Accounting and Financial Management for Bankers (AFM); and Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM).
