Indian Scientists Develop ‘OncoMark’ AI Framework for Personalised Cancer Therapy

• Scientists at S N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in collaboration with Ashoka University launched OncoMark, an AI-driven framework that analyses molecular hallmarks of cancer to guide personalised therapies.
• Moving beyond traditional TNM staging, OncoMark decodes processes like metastasis, immune evasion, genomic instability, and treatment resistance, using 3.1 million single-cell data points across 14 cancer types.
• Validated on 20,000 patient samples globally, it helps early detection, targeted treatment, and avoids over- or under-treatment.
