The eligibility requirements differ according to the post. Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification and experience requirements as on 1 August 2026.

Manager-AI/ML Engineer

• Candidates should have a full-time B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI & ML or Data Science with at least 50% marks, or MCA/M.Tech/M.E. in the specified disciplines with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in development and implementation of AI, Generative AI, NLP or content-analysis-based projects. Certifications in AI, Gen AI, NLP or ML are preferred.

Manager-Cyber Security

• Candidates should have a full-time B.Tech/B.E. in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics or Electronics & Communications Engineering with at least 50% marks.
• MCA, M.Tech or M.Sc. in the specified disciplines with at least 50% marks is also accepted. An advanced degree in Cyber Security or Information Technology is preferred.
• Candidates must also possess at least 3 years of post-qualification hands-on experience in offensive cyber security. The experience may include red team operations, penetration testing, AI red teaming, vulnerability assessment and related areas.

UCO Bank SO Age Limit 2026

The prescribed age limit for both Specialist Officer positions is 25 to 35 years as on 1 August 2026. Candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories will receive age relaxation according to the applicable Government of India guidelines. The notification provides 5 years’ relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, subject to the specified conditions.

The selected candidates will be appointed in MMGS-II. The basic pay scale is: ₹64,820 – 2,340/1 – ₹67,160 – 2,680/10 – ₹93,960 In addition to basic pay, candidates will be eligible for DA, HRA/lease accommodation, CCA, medical benefits and other allowances and perquisites as applicable under the bank’s prevailing rules.
