Financial Performance

The total business of all 28 RRBs crossed ₹13.5 lakh crore in FY 2025-26.
The total business of RRBs surpassed the business level of some individual Public Sector Banks (PSBs) during the financial year.
The net profit of RRBs reached an all-time high of ₹10,176 crore in FY 2025-26.
In comparison, the consolidated net profit of RRBs stood at ₹6,820 crore in FY 2024-25.
The Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) of RRBs reached an all-time low of 5.3%.
The Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) also reached an all-time low of 2.1%.

Financial Inclusion and Priority Sector Lending

RRBs continued to achieve all prescribed Priority Sector Lending (PSL) targets and sub-targets.
This reflects their continued focus on serving marginalised and underserved sections of society.
RRBs opened over 54.98 lakh new Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) accounts during FY 2025-26.
RRBs also recorded an increasing trend in their Credit-Deposit (CD) Ratio.
The CD Ratio reached an all-time high of 75.2% in FY 2025-26.
